Scuba Diving Tour – North Phu Quoc

Hopping on our wooden boat, it drives us slowly further to the North from Duong Dong harbor in 1,5 hours. On the boat, firstly the instructor will check your diving certificate. Secondly, you will revise the knowledge needed for the day. Thirdly, he will assist you with your equipment. Last but not least, we will do “buddy check” before the dive.

Normally, we dive around Turtle island. If the weather conditions do not allow access to Turtle island, we will change the location to any of the other nearby diving locations. 

You will have 2 dives in total. Each dive lasts about 45 minutes for certificate tourists.

If you just got your certificate and are you still a bit nervous about diving in deeper water? Don’t worry, you can choose to join the group in the shallow water to regain your confidence.

Non-certificate divers

For non-certificate holders, the dives will be a little shorter because of extra instruction. As such, each dive will last 25 minutes. 

You will be introduced to scuba diving techniques, breathing, basic underwater sign language, buoyancy and more. The first dive will be in relatively shallow water. The second dive, depending on the experience and comfort of every member in the group, will be in deeper water.  

To make sure every member of the group is given proper instruction, everyone will get one on one teaching. For first time divers, the instructor will always be with you in the water to guide you and make sure no problems arise.
